Keiki Keys was created with a simple belief: a child’s ability to become a strong reader should not depend on their family’s ability to afford specialized support.
For children with dyslexia and other reading difficulties, the right instruction can be life-changing. Yet, accessing specialized, evidence-based reading intervention can be expensive, difficult to find, and or simply out of reach for many families.
Keiki Keys exists to help change that.

Founded by Samantha French, a former elementary educator and dyslexia teacher, Open Doors Hawai’i grew from a simple belief: a child’s access to effective reading instruction shouldn’t be determined by what their family can afford.
We believe:
